Founder of Specialized Rescue Training
Michael Zichichi has been a professional firefighter since 2000. Currently a Captain with the Vacaville Fire Department, Mike is a Shift Training Assistant and has been a registered California State Fire Training Instructor since 2007. His specialty is technical rescue skills.
Mike has shared his expertise in elevator entrapments and rescue since 2015 and founded Specialized Rescue Training that same year. He has taught elevator rescue skills to hundreds of California firefighters through his 8-hour, in-person training. Now he has developed an online companion class, to reach even more first responders.
